GH Phipps utilized BIM technology on this project to coordinate the installation of above ceiling systems. Critical existing building systems and new systems were modeled to facilitate above ceiling routing of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, communications, and pneumatic tube.  These systems were clash detected using Autodesk NavisWorks to resolve conflicts prior to installation.  This allowed a much higher level of offsite fabrication and component prefabrication creating a cleaner and safer jobsite with a faster jobsite installation schedule.
